The Call for Submissions for the Winter Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) 2012 is now open. This show is scheduled to be on Friday March 9th and the deadline for submissions is Friday February 17th. Make sure to visit the submission page to download the form and send your DVD in at anytime up to the deadline.
Send in your new or old work, propose an a/v performance. If it uses light and it moves than its fair game. We aim to celebrate what Central Ohio has to offer no time constraints, no subject constraints, animation, video, film, software art, projection performance, etc. Its all fair game.

The Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) will host its ninth quarterly local moving image screening event on December 2nd from 8pm to 9:30pm at the Ohio State University’s Hagerty Hall Theater room 180. CMIAR is a screening event for artist residing in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. CMIAR was developed by two local moving image artists who wanted to create a way for the seventh art of film to return to the presentation medium of the cinema house. The goal of CMIAR is to provide a quarterly screening event comprised of works from local artists working in the seventh art of the moving image. The screening event will be programmed with moving image work obtained through submissions.
