The Call for Submissions for the Summer Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) 2014 is now open. This show is  scheduled to be on Friday September 26th 2014 and the deadline for submissions is Friday September 12th 2014. Make sure to visit the submission page to download the form and send your DVD in at any time up to the deadline. Send in your new or old animations – videos – films, or propose an a/v performance. If it uses light and it moves than its fair game; video, film, animation, documentary, narrative, experimental, student, and professional. Columbus Moving Image Art Review 19 Spring 2014 June 27th Friday 8pm

The Columbus Moving Image Art Review (CMIAR) will host its 19th quarterly local moving image screening event on Friday June 27th from 8pm to 9:30pm at the Ohio State University’s Hagerty Hall Theater room 180. CMIAR is a screening event for artist residing in Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas. CMIAR was developed by two local moving image artists who wanted to create a way for the seventh art of film to return to the presentation medium of the cinema house. CMIAR 19 will be programmed with moving image work from Ohio State University Students, Staff and Alumni, CCAD Students and Faculty, and local Central Ohio filmmakers. Admission is free. Light food and drinks will be provided. CMIAR is sponsored by the OSU Film Studies Program and Nicolettecinemagraphics.
