Winter CMIAR screening date and extended submission deadline

We are happy to announce that the Winter CMIAR will be on March 11th from 7pm-9pm at the OSU Urban Arts Space.
Due to this slightly later screening date the submission deadline is being extended to Friday February 12th. Please see the submission page for more details on the submission process or email CMIAR about any questions you may have.

Winter Venue Announcement

We are happy to announce a new partnership with the OSU Urban Art Space. We are currently making plans to be a featured program during one of their Thursday evening events. We would like to thank Nicole Eggert with the OSU Urban Art Space for helping out with the planning of the Winter CMIAR. She has been an intricate part of making sure the space will be suitable for CMIAR events as well as working with us to plan future events, calls for submissions, and event advertising. Winter CMIAR Call for Submissions approaching!

The Winter call for submissions is fast approaching. Make sure you check out the submission page and send in your film before Feb.1st.

Winter CMIAR Event Call for Submission

Now that the Fall CMIAR has passed it is time to look to the future. Plans are being made for the next event that will take place in late February. The call for submissions is now open and the deadline is Monday February 1st. So if you have work you would like to submit send it in. If you don’t have any work you now have 2 months to make some and send it in.

Thanks to everyone one who came tonight. Thanks to all the artists for making such great work. We raised enough money to cover most of the expenses for the event so guess what that means. Another CMIAR in near the end of February. The new call for submissions is officially open. Start sending in your work.

Tonight’s the Night

Future CMIAR submission

This Friday’s November 13th Columbus Moving Image Art Review is coming up pretty fast. If you are a Columbus moving image artist, filmmaker, animator, etc. come and check out the event at Wildgoose Creative. Also, make sure you check out the submissions page. The date for next quarter’s CMIAR has not been selected yet but the call for submissions is revolving. So, feel free to download a submission form and send us your work for the February/March Columbus Moving Image Art Review.
